Disappearances in U.S. have been underway and the media is silent
The Guardian, NPR, AP, and Reuters have not mentioned it, but an announcement from The Center for Constitutional Rights, along with about 30 over organizations, are remarking on U.S. disappearances of martyrs.
[A] group of over 30 organizations petitioned the United Nations Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances (WGEID) to intervene after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) removed thousands of detained immigrants with final orders from its Online Detainee Locator System (ODLS) on September 15, limiting their access to legal counsel, the court system, and due process.
I recently wrote about how soon the U.S. government would be coming for the disabled. I knew very few would take me seriously, not being caught up in the latest developments. The only hesitation is for the government to appear not to be planning exactly what they are planning. They did the same thing when they backed down from creating a database of those with Autism, but later made the database anyway. Do not forget we have a history of this. It was California that gave Hitler a road map for mass forced sterilization and it was a recent as when Kamala Harris was Attorney General of California that she ignore pleas from survivors CA forced sterilization for reparations. And that was a different time when even CNN reported on it. Where are the reports of disappearances now? Or the obvious conclusion to the eroding of disability rights for the purpose of disappearances? The socially invisible are being made politically invisible again. And no one drops a pin on the head of angel.
