Note: Can you think of a scientist who would never betray you?

If you are being honest with yourself I bet you are finding it difficult to answer that questions. Of course, they preach parity, unity, one shared edification of collaborative justice. They would most likely almost always be there for each other because, well, that’s relationship building and more specifically, the social connectivity of careerism. Unless you personally know an established scientist and have a family or familial connection, do not count of their so called worldly input to come to your aid, not unless there is a guaranteed job for their efforts. Or, a grant or two as a reward. People are not good. People could be good. It is an option available to them and they know it, but most people pass it up, scientists included. Greed wins out over humanitarianism unless that humanitarianism is a stepping stone to feed their greed.
